Abdul Wahab and Family

My life at a glance

My name is Abdul Wahab. I was born and brought up in a Muslim family in Malabar, but when I was 9 years old, my parents converted to Christianity and I was dropped out of the madrassa. Through the prayers of my parents, I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour at a youth meeting held in 1983. Then, in 1986, I went to a Bible college to study the word of God and graduated in 1990. From 1992 to 2020, I was involved in God’s work in various states of North India with Operation Mobilization. Since 2003, I have been living in Kannur district and working among special communities in Kerala. I have been working to translate the Bible into the Malabari Malayalam language of Kerala, which is closest to their hearts, and to inform these communities of the divine plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. By the grace of God, it has been possible to translate the main parts of the Bible so far, and efforts are underway to translate the entire Bible. I’m working to strengthen families and individuals coming from these special communities, socially and spiritually, in a Christ-centered life.

My wife’s name is Rachel.
